A vice is part of the basic equipment of an perfectly equipped workbench. This heavy duty vice is ideal for heavy use due to its hardness and stable body.
With this Heavy Duty vice everything is held firmly and in the correct position. This is ensured by the front clamping jaw, the fixed clamping jaw and the spindle crank. The workpiece is clamped between the two clamping jaws. The fixed clamping jaw is mounted on the base body and cannot be changed in position. The front jaw sits on a guide rail and can be moved back and forth.
The vice has a clamping jaw width of 150 mm and has a trapezoidal thread. The spindle can be reliably opened and closed with the thread and the spindle nut. This procedure allows the clamping width of the clamping jaws to be individually adapted to the size of the workpieces.
The design of the vice allows it to be attached to the workbench so that the rear jaw hangs over the workbench. This is important if long objects such as pipes are to be clamped vertically. In addition to the clamping function, this vice has a 152.4 mm (6") anvil. Additional work such as hammering or graining can be done here.
